"He brought you here for a purpose. It would be illogical for us not to assume that purpose was to learn from us. We will teach to you what you are best suited for."

The Archivists were not emotionally-driven entities, and while they often found it hard to relate to the Raveens under their care, they tried to cross the boundaries between them. They took the cubs under their wings, and set out to teach them their own ways. It was a struggle for the first group of WoRs that arrived on the shores of the Archives.
A constant battle to understand, and learn. In the end they were given different Areas of Study. Granted powers and skills unique to the class the Archivists separated them into. These powers/skills will go with them into the worlds they travel to, but only as long as they carry the amulets from the Archives. Without these Amulets, the powers and skills taught by the Archivists will be useless.
It is important to never displace or give away an Amulet. Once lost, it cannot be regained, and the Amulets only work for those from the Archives.

The Youngling; cubs, or young teens, those in this area of Study are seen as young individuals not yet ready to take on
the more involved (and taxing) studies. Instead they were kept under a watchful eye of Archivists and older WoRs as they
grew, taught the basics of survival, and observed to see where their strengths may lay.
If a cub left the Archives before maturing further, they remain in this area of Study. The Amulet they posses simply grants
them the power to sense the location of others from the Archives, and to see flickers of something "else" in their dreams.
The Healer; older teens, or adults, whom the Archivists viewed as more compassionate towards the survival of others.
They were often taken away by the Archivists during the day, to where they would travel different areas of the Archives.
With a natural talent for being able to 'see' warning auras of things that are toxic, poisonous, or dangerous, a Healer can
always keep itself and others from being waylaid by sickness or harm. By the same token, they are able to see auras
outlining medicinal plants.
They are masters of preservation; able to banish physical pain by touch, and stop mortal wounds from taking life. By
speaking the incantation of Sumoshu -- ("De'lana su Vo t'eah Su-mo'shu") -- they can call on a spell that regenerates
blood, tissue, and bone in the matter of seconds. They are also able to soothe injuries of the mind; some capable of
restoring lost memories, or helping undo the damage of psychological scars.
They can store medicinal elements in a pocket realm they have access to at all times - a pocket realm which belongs
solely to the Healer. It keeps plants preserved in the state they were found in, and works to make it so the Healer never
puts the items at the risk of damage. Anything placed in the pocket realm will be preserved in the way it entered the realm.
What is stored in a pocket realm is entirely up to the Healer.
The Protector; older teens, or adults, they were seen as either ambitious or strong individuals. Ones who were
surrounded by the potential for courage, or the strength to see things through. They were the only ones taught the arts of
battle, the Archivists using their memories of The War to pass on strategies and skills they knew. With the WoRs
themselves each being so different in power and physical forms, the Archivists often taught them individually.
Protectors have the skills necessary to take down enemies, avoid being harmed by those unskilled in battle techniques,
and possess a raw hunger for battle strategy. They enjoy the challenge of taking on others in sparring sessions, and grew
their strength from the battles they would have with the immortal Archivists.
They have the power to see the thought process of enemies in battle, and through battle-trances can even affect the
decisions that an enemy may make (eye contact is required) -- seeming to "force" an enemy to make the wrong decision
in battle, and pouncing on the misstep to end the fight. While this power is psychic in nature, it is more akin to a temporary
Soul-Link that works to trick an enemy temporarily. They are also able to flawlessly mimic a fighting style after
encountering it once.
They are of intensely focused minds, able to see what must be done and go through with it. Protectors were brought up in
an Area of Study where hesitation and low confidence was not allowed to prosper.
The Scholar; older teens, or adults, only. Those who were inquisitive and interested most in learning about the Archives
and the Archivist species were put into this Area of Study. Masters of knowledge, the Scholars were taught how to "see" the
history of a world, to see glimpses of what had transpired on the Archives. Where the others would see the bones and
ruins, Scholars would be able to see the shadows of the dying moments of the creatures, or a time when the ruins were
standing strong.
They have a natural affinity for language and discovering secrets. With the power to tell when another is lying, and the
power to understand a language after hearing it spoken once, a Scholar is a true master of discovery. They also have a
talent for navigation, and using the stars, can always find their way to where they need to be.
Scholars are one of the only Areas of Study that cause a physical trait to change in the WoR. Because of this they are
easily recognizable by the right 'paw' having been turned into a source of energy. It is through touch that a Scholar can
absorb and understand script that is otherwise intelligible.
