During their stay in Os'Karos many events happened. The ones noted here are the
events that were shared by many, and not limited to only a small handful of
characters. Your WoR may have experienced a notable event that didn't affect the
others of their Eclipse-year, and thus, those events are not detailed here - but
can be found in their personal notes.
Offerings to Lnei-La

A yearly ritual that took place in the High Temple; the one nearest Lnei-La's
Tomb. All of Os'Karos is welcomed to the Temple, where they are given the
opportunity to present an offering to Lnei-La's memory. The items they give
range from physical items to secrets, promises, and prayer. Physical items are
burned on a pyre at the top of the temple; so that the ash may carry them to
Lnei-La in the afterlife.

The WoRs were welcome to take part in the ritual after they reached one year of
age, and were old enough to understand what it meant. Lnei-La was the Goddess of
Os'Karos, and her people still loved and honoured her greatly. The WoRs would
never have the chance to know her, so the Osarians did not take offense to any
who did not participate in this ritual.

All they asked was if they sat it out, they did nothing to disrespect those who
chose to take part.

"
Lnei-La ruled the stars with grace. We honour her memory, so that we never
forget the one who made us.
"
Destruction of Ja'et

Every six months the planet Ja'et would succumb to the time flux that infected
it. Crumbling in on itself, then exploding outward in debris that would touch
all the moons and planets in it's shared solar system. Every six months a meteor
shower would bring chaos to Os'Karos; as destruction befell a section of already
battered mountains.

The meteors would cause a great deal of destruction as they crashed into
Os'Karos, but thankfully few would ever die to it. The destruction of Ja'et
happened on a predictable schedule, and the meteors always impacted the same
area. Over time the meteor showers became a passing thing of note; a thing to be
aware of, but not to fear.

In the morning the day after the meteors hit, Ja'et will be restored, and the
cycle will begin it's six month journey again.

Many of the WoRs and younger Osarians found the meteor showers beautiful to
watch. They would gather in the nearby safe zones and watch as the pieces of
Ja'et burned and flew over Os'Karos.
The Grand Hunt

Out in the Edgeless Ocean of Os'Karos roamed ancient serpentine creatures of the
depths. Long marvelled as creatures of strength, they were both honoured and
feared by Osarians. Many Osarians died to the maws of these creatures, and the
Edgeless Ocean became a place deadly to the unprepared.

A Grand Hunt took place twice a year; once at the beginning of the cold season,
and again at the beginning of the warm season. The Osarians would send their
strongest hunters out to the Edgeless Ocean, where they would seek to hunt and
kill one of these creatures - to bring it back as a feast to strengthen their
families before the changing of the seasons.

Some years were unsuccessful, with more hunters dying than returning successful.
Those who were able to return with a successful hunt were celebrated, and the
hunter's kill was shared with the community.
Farewell

The Osarians had long known the WoRs would not be remaining on Os'Karos forever.
Their time here was limited, and one day, the door would open to take them back
where they came from. While the option to stay was given to those who wished to
remain on Os'Karos, the majority of the WoRs did end up leaving.

For some, the stay on Os'Karos was a short one, for others, it was a stay that
lasted ten years or so. On the day they were meant to leave, the Osarians who
viewed them as family threw a feast in their honour. They gathered together to
celebrate and remember the times they shared, and then walked the WoRs out to
the High Temple.

Mystical energy had risen into the sky, creating a walkway leading into the
stars where a gateway to another world waited for them. It was a slow climb, and
one each WoR had to take. The Osarians watched them leave; those who had called
them family openly crying, while others wished them luck in their journey.

"
Blessings of the Astralis go with you. Strength of the Knights be yours."

As the last WoR passed through the gateway, a surge of immense power rushed
through the Astralis, and time stabilized for the first time in living memory.
And Rekura's Curse, at last, fulfills his promise.
Mysterious Deaths

In the eighth year after the arrival of the first WoRs, something happened that
caused a group of Osarians to suddenly die. They'd been moving through the wilds
of Os'Karos, tracking the movements of herd animals. A few WoRs had been with
them at the time; seeking to learn how the Osarians kept the prey animal
population thriving.

They'd just been crossing an open field when the Osarians started to bleed
uncontrollably from their eyes and noses. They died in a panic; caught by
surprise, and with no way to save themselves.

Some WoRs with healing abilities and training tried to help, but nothing worked.
The Osarians died without explanation, while the WoRs left with no sign of
sickness in themselves.

Priests were sent to investigate, but no answers were ever found. Whatever had
killed the Osarian hunter party was not contagious, and it had no clear source.
The dead were burned, and the land was quarantined.
