While the WoRs were not pressured into choosing a Profession during their stay,
the option was given to them. They weren't allowed entry into the priesthood,
since the Osarians didn't want to teach them something that would be useless to
them once they left Os'Karos.
Hunter

The pillar of Osarian society, the hunters are the ones who provided food for
the community. While all WoRs were considered hunters, it was only those who
chose to specialize in the profession that were given full training.

Hunters are front-line fighters and trackers. Their primary goal is to find and
kill enough food for the community; they take great pride in keeping their
families strong and provided for. They're trained to hunt with mercy; to only
kill enough to eat, and never to kill just for the thrill of it. It's important
to make sure there's enough food for future generations, so prey animals are
never allowed to be over hunted.

Those that specialize as hunters are trained to Warp - a short distance teleport
that allows for them to evade attacks and strike with haste. A Warp attack can
kill a target quickly, and without causing unnecessary harm.

Hunters were trained to used Warp in their battle tactics as well; providing a
nice evasion technique to their fighting styles that is unique to them.
Healer

Caretakers of the community, the healers are those who have the compassion and
strength to help those in need. When a WoR chooses to specialize as a healer
they're excused from future hunts, and are taught everything they'd need to know
to heal the sick. They're taught how to locate and identify plants with
medicinal properties, how to physically close/wrap injuries, and how to cure
sickness.

Once they've mastered the art of dealing with injuries through herbalism and
natural medicines, they're taught how to use the mystical arts to heal. Able to
weave wounds closed with magic, and siphon pain away from others, they become a
staple of the community that is not easily replaced.

Healers are highly knowledgeable when it comes to healing, and can often
diagnose and treat all forms of injury the other WoRs would have dealt with.

Healers are able to access personal Pocket Realms, where they can store herbs
and potions for future use.
Historian

Seeking to learn more about Os'Karos, and All Worlds, the historians are WoRs
who were curious about the Astralis and wished to be taught more. With a more
academic focus, historians were often found in the Temples or Tombs, reading
from old scripts and listening to the stories shared by elder Osarians.

They learned the history of Os'Karos, the Astralis Pantheon, and gained the
knowledge of what happened after the time flux infected All Worlds. They were
taught that All Worlds were left in a state of dissonance with the Astralis, as
pockets of time came loose from the tethers of the universe, and All Worlds were
thrown into chaos as they were thrown into a time instability.

They learned languages, and became fluent in the language of the Astralis -
which will allow them to speak with and understand the WoRs from X'ysahtu and
other planets of All Worlds.

They gain the ability to read and translate all script, regardless of the
language it's written in. And through practice, they gain an eidetic memory.
Sage

Being a Priest was not an option for the WoRs, but they were welcome to learn
the profession of the sages. In charge of upholding the rituals of the dead, the
sages were those who buried the dead and cleansed their souls of any lingering
influences - so that they could enter the afterlife of the soulstream without
the burdens of their previous life.

Sages were taught the ability to Cleanse - a power that allowed them to summon
green flames that would consume a body, and leave only blackened obsidian bones
behind. These obsidian bones were then respectfully taken to a Tomb, where they
would be buried and sealed in a final resting place. Cleanse could only be used
on the dead, and any attempt to use it against a living soul would cause the
flames to turn against the Sage themselves (burning their paws, and
extinguishing their ability to summon the flames ever again).

Taught to be respectful of the dead, the sages were regarded as highly honoured
individuals on Os'Karos.
Crafter

On Os'Karos the world was carefully maintained and designed by the crafters.
Each part of the world was created by an Osarian, from the mountains, to the
forests, to the lakes, rivers, and oceans. It was important to keep the planet
maintained, so that it didn't fall into calamity.

The duty of a crafter is to make sure balance in the world is maintained. To
make sure the Hunters don't over hunt, and that the dry seasons don't lead to
drought. They're taught to read the weather, and to know when earth quakes and
other natural disasters are about to transpire.

They're taught the power of Weaving - the ability to alter the natural world,
and return it to it's balanced state, or change it to a more balanced one.
They're masters of Terramancy, Hydromancy, and Aeromancy.
No Profession

There was no pressure to choose, and no obligation to specialize. Those that did
not choose a profession were free to live as they liked, though they were not
allowed to learn the teachings of the professions. If they did not specialize,
they were left to be part of the hunt as amateur hunters, and left to live free
on Os'Karos.

It was not disrespectful not to choose. Many Osarians themselves would go their
entire lives without specializing.
